GTex Brokers Role

GTex Brokers is a project advisory and contractor matchmaking service for residential and commercial construction-related projects.

We help customers clarify project needs, organize scope, and connect with contractors that fit the project type, service area, and timing.

GTex Brokers is not the contractor performing the work. We do not perform construction labor, provide materials, pull permits, or provide workmanship warranties for contractor-performed work.

Contractors quote and contract directly with the customer for any work performed.

What GTex Brokers Does

Depending on the project and engagement type, GTex Brokers may provide services such as:

  • Project intake and scope clarification
  • Budgetary guidance and planning support
  • Contractor sourcing and introductions
  • Contractor comparison support
  • Partner network coordination
  • Communication support during the introduction process

Service availability may vary by project type, scope, timing, and location.

What GTex Brokers Does Not Do

Unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement, GTex Brokers does not:

  • Act as the contractor or builder on the project
  • Perform construction work
  • Guarantee contractor selection, availability, or award
  • Guarantee pricing, scheduling, close rates, or project outcomes
  • Guarantee workmanship, quality, or warranty performance by contractors
  • Make contractor hiring decisions for the customer

The customer is responsible for selecting the contractor they wish to hire.

How GTex Brokers Gets Paid

GTex Brokers may be paid by customers, participating contractors, or both, depending on the services provided and the engagement structure.

These payments are for different services and may include:

  • Customer-paid advisory and sourcing support
  • Contractor partner network fees
  • Contractor referral and/or success-based fees

All applicable fees and fee terms are discussed and agreed in writing before engagement, onboarding, or introductions move forward.

Payment to GTex Brokers does not guarantee contractor selection, ranking, project award, or volume.

Customer-Paid Services

Customers may pay GTex Brokers for project advisory and sourcing support, which may include project clarification, planning support, and contractor introductions.

Public website pages may describe how fees work without listing exact pricing. Exact pricing, scope, and service terms are provided during consultation and/or in a written agreement before engagement.

Premium Neutral Advisory (if offered)

On certain projects, GTex Brokers may offer a customer-paid advisory option where GTex Brokers does not accept contractor compensation on that specific project file. Availability depends on project scope, timing, and fit, and terms are confirmed in writing before engagement.

Contractor-Paid Services

Participating contractors may pay GTex Brokers under a partner network and/or referral arrangement. This may include a partner network fee, a referral fee, a success-based fee, or another agreed fee structure based on the relationship and service provided.

Fee structure and fee triggers may vary by trade, service area, participation level, and project type. Exact terms are discussed and agreed in writing before onboarding or introductions move forward.

Payment to GTex Brokers does not guarantee selection, ranking, project award, or volume.

How Contractor Introductions Work

GTex Brokers may introduce customers to participating contractors based on factors such as:

  • Project type
  • Service area
  • Stated scope
  • Timing
  • Availability
  • Baseline criteria and fit considerations

GTex Brokers may also consider whether a contractor participates in the GTex partner network, where applicable.

Introductions are not a guarantee of award. The customer decides who to interview and who to hire.

Contractor Vetting and Baseline Criteria

GTex Brokers may use baseline criteria and fit considerations when evaluating contractors for participation or project introductions. These criteria may vary by project type, scope, and risk level.

Examples may include:

  • Licensing status where required for the work performed
  • General liability insurance
  • Service-area alignment
  • Project-type fit
  • Responsiveness and communication
  • Ability to quote and contract directly with customers
  • Business documentation and references, as requested

GTex Brokers does not certify, insure, or warrant contractor performance.

Customers should perform their own due diligence before hiring a contractor, including reviewing licensing, insurance, references, and contract terms as appropriate for the project.

Contractor Selection and Construction Contracts

Customers choose the contractor they wish to hire.

If a customer moves forward with a contractor, the contractor quotes and contracts directly with the customer for the work. GTex Brokers is not a party to the construction contract unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

Contractors are responsible for their own licensing (where required), insurance, permits, labor, materials, workmanship, scheduling, and warranty obligations for work they perform.

No Guarantee of Results

GTex Brokers does not guarantee:

  • That a customer will receive a certain number of contractor introductions
  • That a contractor will be selected or awarded a project
  • A contractor's close rate or project volume
  • Project pricing or final budget
  • Project timeline or completion date
  • Workmanship or project outcomes

Any estimates, ranges, or planning guidance provided by GTex Brokers are for planning purposes only unless otherwise stated in writing.
